The key details of the event

Here is all the essential logistical information for the FTC Italian Championship:

  • Where: Villaggio Accademia, Via Cristoforo Colombo, 18 – Cesenatico (RN)
  • When: March 5 to 7, 2026
  • Formula: The event will be a four-day celebration of science, technology and team spirit, culminating in the final races and award ceremonies.
  • Places available: The Championship has a maximum capacity of 48 teams. Priority will be given to teams from Italy and San Marino.

This year’s theme: DECODE™.

The 2025-2026 season, part of the FIRST AGE™ macro-theme, invites us on an archaeology-inspired adventure. Under the title DECODE™, teams will have to use their STEM skills to:

  1. Investigate the power of ancient artifacts: Every object on the playing field holds a story to be deciphered.
  2. Unlocking mysteries: Design, build and program robots that can collect, analyze and place strategic artifacts to “decode” the challenge.
  3. Building the Future: Today’s Engineering helps us understand yesterday’s innovations. The competition is a journey through the past, present and future of technology.

Get ready to dig deeper into discoveries than ever before!
