Official FTC Italy Webinars: Get Ready for DECODE™!

The season is in full swing and the Italian Championship is approaching. To better support teams and mentors, we have organized a series of four technical and educational webinars, entirely hosted on the Microsoft Teams platform. These are crucial sessions to refine game strategy, understand judging criteria and better prepare for the Cesenatico event!

This webinar is the perfect introduction to this year’s DECODE™ challenge. Basic rules, match objectives, and initial strategic considerations to begin building the robot will be explained. Ideal for rookie teams and mentors who want a comprehensive review.

A single session divided into two key moments: the first part will focus on judging criteria for Awards, Portfolio and Interview. The second will focus on advanced game strategies to maximize scoring and alliance.

This session is entirely devoted to questions and answers (Q&A). You will be able to address specific concerns about the competition rules and Judging requirements that have arisen after the first few weeks of work directly to the presenters. Prepare your questions in advance!

The final webinar focuses on logistical preparation for the Cesenatico Championship. Essential information will be provided on schedules, check-ins, workspaces, on-site regulations, and a ‘last-minute check’ to make sure teams are ready to go.

Instructions for Participating on Microsoft Teams

All webinars will be held on Microsoft Teams. Access is free and open to all registered team members. Follow these instructions to join:

  1. Registration: No specific pre-registration is required for individual webinars. Simply save the appointment to your calendar.
  2. Access Link: The unique link to access the Teams room (valid for all 4 meetings) will be emailed to all registered mentors and coaches.
  3. Time Zone: The time (15:30) refers to the Italian time zone(CET/UTC+1).
  4. Note: Make sure you have the Microsoft Teams app installed or are using a supported browser for optimal experience.
