THE STORY.

In recent years, the group of Genoese boys, girls and parents united by their passion for science and robotics has won 4 FLL national finals, a participation in the Sydney FLL Open, taken part in three editions of the Robotics Olympiad, finishing in third place in the 2020/2021 season and enrolling 3 boys in the MIUR Roll of Excellence, and has gone through the Pandemic united by continuing to work online to give teams, coaches and parents, some lightheartedness during that bad time.

The team members grew up playing, but developing technical skills, such as programming, 3D design and printing, problem solving, use of PCs, Arduino, Raspberry, and participation in these competitions, which require participants to carry out research with all the criteria characteristic of scientific protocol on a current problem, stimulated the group to devise, develop and present innovative projects, which they then disseminated at other events, such as the Busalla Space Festival.

The Robotic iBot team of the Artù APS Onlus Association. will participate in national and international events and enable other boys, girls, and adults to learn about the world of technology, particularly robotics on a playful and educational level, by joining them in participating in the FIRST® LEGO® League and other similar competitions, the first event of the iBot is the FIRST Global Challenge in Geneva from October 13 to 16, 2022.
